About the Role

Charity People is thrilled to be working with Eden Project Communities in their search for their new Partnerships Manager.  We warmly welcome candidates from all backgrounds to apply for this role.  We are looking for individuals to culturally add to this organisation rather than fit an existing cultural mould, so if you are part of a community that has traditionally been minoritised and underrepresented by the charity sector, we would love to hear from you and will do everything possible to make this a smooth, supportive and fair application process for you.

The Eden Project Communities global mission is to create a movement that builds relationships between people and the natural world. They are a growing movement, working on and developing projects locally, nationally, and internationally. Their work is underpinned by the understanding that we need to live with the grain of nature and that everything is interconnected. Their projects aim to stimulate, educate, and empower. Eden Project explores the interconnectedness of all living things and demonstrate the power of what people can do when they come together to protect the planet.

Eden Project Communities has UK wide reach and delivers ideas that encourage public engagement and participation in positive community based action on a mass scale. In 2022 they will be a part of HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations and hosting The Big Jubilee Lunch. In order to grow awareness and engagement across the general public they'll collaborate with others and partner with a wide range of organisations to help them amplify the amazing work they do.

This role is a real mix of planning and action! You'll identify new partner prospects and opportunities and help grow reach in short timeframes.  You'll build on existing relationships and provide account management for major brands and household names as well as working together with businesses, corporates, charities and other partners to help them activate their networks with the primary objective of growing participation in this super exciting flagship project, The Big Lunch.

Our Partnerships Manager will be driven, ambitious, tenacious and with an ability to build rapport, listen and adapt to situations. We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role, where you've developed and managed corporate, national and regional partnerships and or sponsors and been involved in campaign delivery. A strategic thinker who values all aspects of partnership relationship management from the detail driven processes to creative planning and delivery.

If you're interested in hearing more about this great opportunity, please send your CV to Ellen at Charity People, ellen@charitypeople.co.uk

Charity People actively promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion. We match charity needs with skills and experience of candidates, irrespective of age, disability (including hidden disabilities), gender, gender identity or gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation. We do this because we know greater diversity will lead to even greater results for the charities we work with.
