At the Eden Project, we believe in the power of community, the power of people collectively doing things to improve their lives, and the lives of others around them.  Through our Eden Project Communities team, we design and deliver ideas and interventions that engage and excite ordinary people into taking small steps that make a big difference.  

In 2022, The Big Lunch becomes The Big Jubilee Lunch and forms an official part of HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, bringing those celebrations into the heart of communities nationwide. With over 9million people taking part in The Big Lunch in 2021, we’re expecting next year to be a BIG one!

Our focus is on encouraging community led action and we have developed some exciting cross sector partnerships and collaborations that will accelerate our ambitions and those of our partners, and enhance our collective impact in the coming years.

The Eden Project Communities’ programme runs year round and supports individuals and communities by building the connections, capacity, skills and confidence people need to tackle the issues that matter most to them where they live.
