Welcome

Hello! Welcome to the YMCA George Williams College recruitment page, and thank you for your interest in our work.

This is an exciting time to join the College. A newly merged charity – albeit one with a long history - the College recently joined forces with the Centre for Youth Impact, bringing together the Centre’s work to progress thinking and practice in impact measurement in youth work and youth provision with the College’s 50-year history of supporting relational practice with young people and communities.

We believe that every young person should have access to high quality provision and services that support them to learn, grow and explore their relationships with the world around them, alongside enabling their socio-emotional development. We work with practitioners across the UK to equip them with skills and knowledge, and support the organisations that make up the youth sector with invaluable training, tools, and data systems, so that they can evaluate, strengthen, and diversify their offer to young people and communities.

Since the Centre’s inception in 2014, we have sought to re-frame the potential of impact measurement and continuous quality improvement in informal and non-formal learning provision for young people, with the aim of supporting practitioners and providers to get even better at what they do. We have developed our own resources, frameworks, suite of measurement tools and data portal. This year, we brought this all into George Williams College, to embed the Centre’s expertise into teaching and learning opportunities for the youth sector. As we look ahead to the next chapter and our strategic vision for our combined charity, we’re looking for talented, imaginative and passionate individuals to join our team, to help drive forward change and continue this necessary work.

If any of the above excites you as much as it does me, and if you would like to join an organisation striving for equity and better outcomes for all young people, we would love to hear from you.
