Fundraising assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Moorfield Eye Charity’s ambitious fundraising team and build strong relationships with supporters across their fundraising and engagement programme.

About the role

As part of the fundraising team, you will support the delivery of the charity’s supporter engagement and stewardship for their mass fundraising supporters and donors. You will welcome and steward new contacts, thank fundraisers and donors and engage with event participants. You will also provide communications support across a range of channels.

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery, development and growth of the charity’s volunteer and events programme, supporting event participants and community fundraisers. You will also monitor fundraising activity using a CRM.

About you

We are looking for someone pro-active, friendly and who enjoys working in a varied role.

You will have excellent communication skills, be organised and data savvy, with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.

You may already be working or volunteering in fundraising or your experience could come from events, customer care or marketing. You’ll be interested in working in fundraising and raising funds to support the health sector.

Your ability to provide an excellent supporter experience and work as part of a team to deliver solutions and results will be key to your success in this role.

Location: London, City Road EC1 with hybrid working offered

Salary: £23,405 - £27,535 pro rata

Hours: 22.5 per week

Benefits: Excellent package including 27 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing after 5 years and 10 years service

Reports to: Supporter relations officer
