Events Fundraising Co-ordinator

Charity People are thrilled to be working with the fundraising team for Guy's & St Thomas' Charity in their search for an Events Fundraising Coordinator. In this exciting and innovative role, you will manage and support the planning and delivery of the current challenge events portfolio. This role is a 6-month contract with a possibility of extending. The role is full time – 35 hours per week.

About the role

In this role, you will be strategically planning, costing and delivering a range of events within a fast-growing charity that is going through an exciting rebrand and has had a substantial amount of support and funding.

You will support the coordination and delivery of several challenge events (including our Bespoke abseil events, and Royal Parks Half Marathon) from end to end to maximise income and build strong relationships with our supporters.

You will deliver an excellent stewardship journey for Do You Own Fundraising supporters taking on sporting activities (e.g. skydives and bike rides) to maximise income generation and improve supporter journey.

About you

We are looking for a passionate and driven fundraiser who has excellent event/project management experience.

You will be organised, able to manage multiple projects within budget and driven to meet deadlines and income targets.

Excellent communication skills are essential. You will be able to build strong and meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also have knowledge of a fundraising database (e.g. Raisers edge).

Some travel and attendance at evening and weekend events may be required.
